The Competent Carry Class is designed to make YOU more court defensible by qualifying to the same standard required for law enforcement officers in Oklahoma.
While the State no longer requires training to carry a gun, it’s a wise decision to train and qualify to a known standard that will hold up in court, should you ever be involved in a shooting.
In the process, you’ll hone your draw, increase your accuracy, control rapid fire, shoot one-handed and learn how to manage stress so you can perform on demand.
This last one is key- if you cannot handle the stress and perform on demand, in the moment, you’re dead.
This class addresses that.

• Holster that covers the trigger
• 3 magazines or two speedloaders
• Magazine/speedloader pouches
• Eye/ear protectionSunscreen, snacks, water
• 150 rounds

Do not use this class to “check out a gun.” This is intended to improve your shooting skill with your chosen firearm.
Safety rules will be enforced. If you commit an egregious safety violation, like pointing a gun at others, you will be directed to leave the range. There are no refunds for safety expulsions from the class.
